This was a record that I ordered from a TV commercial in 1984. According to the fan club, it would be available only through the TV commercial for 4-6 months in 1984, and then it would be available in stores. That never happened, though, because the version sold in stores was SIGNIFICANTLY different from this version.

This 2-LP set contains nothing new; the "Superstar" "Rainy Days" and "Goodbye to Love" trilogy is the version from The Singles: 1969-973, with musical connections between each song. The version of "Ticket to Ride" here is the 1973 version, and "Top of the World" is the single version. Nothing else differs from the original album versions.
