UK release only
This British version of Yesterday Once More is somewhat different from the U.S. TV version. Part of that is the inclusion of songs from Voice of the Heart, and also the inclusion of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina," complete with the "On the Balcony of Casa Rosada" starting the song.
What makes this 2-CD set unique is the inclusion of two mixes which are otherwise unavailable on CD -- the original single mix of "Please Mr. Postman," and the original vinyl mix of "Those Good Old Dreams." The mix of "Those Good Old Dreams" on the original vinyl LP of Made in America is different than the mix that has been used on the CD releases of that same album. The CD version contains less synthesizer and more percussion parts.
The "Superstar" "Rainy Days" and "Goodbye to Love" trilogy is the version from The Singles: 1969-973, with musical connections between each song. The version of "Ticket to Ride" here is the 1973 version, and "Top of the World" is the single version. The rest of the songs are the original album versions (which is somewhat unfortunate, as it would be very nice to get the single edit of "Calling Occupants" on CD someday).
As this CD came out a year before the U.S. CD of Yesterday Once More, it does not contain the 1985 remixes that appeared on that release.
